The track features guest appearances by Nick Ferraro on alto saxophone as well as Brooke Howard and Addy Cahill on backing vocals. Mixing and mastering was split between Filippo and Lyell.
Recorded live at Sound City Studios in Los Angeles, Carmen and Lyell crafted this performance to highlight the range of sounds and techniques possible on Fender's American Acoustasonic Stratocaster. Mixing and mastering on the audio side was handled by Lyell; Fender produced the video.

We teamed up with Manchester based Samsara Collective to put together this unique version of White Noise. Arranged for orchestra by Rory Storm, it was performed by members of the Untold Orchestra alongside Leo on voice, flugal, and electric guitar, Ankit on drums, Ryan Guajardo on bass, Troy Everett on viola, and Lyell on keys. The video was edited by Kai Ohio and Lyell handled mixing and mastering.
Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham is an upcoming Indian epic historical film directed by Priyadarshan. The film stars an ensemble cast with some of India's biggest stars including Mohanlal and Suniel Shetty. The film is scheduled to release in Malayalam alongside its dubbed versions soon. Priyadarshan brought on Ankit and Lyell to score pivotal sequences of the film.
Carmen and Lyell worked together to arrange the five acoustic versions that make up the 'Unplugged' EP. The recording was done over the course of a day at Youtube studios in Playa Vista. 'Unplugged' is available as a short film as well as a limited edition vinyl release and on streaming platforms. The band featured Carmen Vandenberg on lead guitar, Rosie Bones on vocals and rhythm guitar, Aaron "Heavy" Mathews on drums, Lyell on percussion, autoharp, and rhythm guitar, Troy Everett on viola, and Will Lyle on bass. Ryan Guajardo stepped in as assistant engineer for the recording.
Luna reached out to Ankit and Lyell to produce and arrange her cover of 잊으라 하지마. The recording is a tribute to Sulli, Luna's former f(x) bandmate who passed away last year. The arrangement features Ankit on piano.
Ankit and Rich produced ciggy's second single "Place". The track was mixed and mastered in Brooklyn by Willie Green of the Greenhouse BK. The track is the second release off ciggy's upcoming EP, "ciggy...and other drugs". "Place" is out February 26 on all platforms.
Tash Sultana tapped Leo to open up her 2019 North America Tour. We joined her for 5 shows - in Providence, RI, New York City, Columbus, OH, Indianapolis, IN, and Grand Rapids, MI.

Lyell and Carmen produced the acoustic accompaniment to the BONES UK album release. Shot live at YouTube studios in Playa Vista, the recording of Black Blood ended up as the album recording. Troy accompanied on viola and background vocals while Ryan assisted on engineering. The acoustic LP will be released on Sumerian Records.
Lyell and Carmen wrote two songs for Paul Taublieb's documentary, Blink of an Eye. One of the tracks features Nick Ferraro on vocals and both included performances by Carmen, Lyell, and Ankit.

KitBash3d teamed up with Twitch for a month long series of daily Q&As and demonstrations. They asked us to create music for their intro title sequence that reflected the same excitement their world building software creates
Anna Kova was asked to perform for Channel 2 in France as part of their Basique series. Anna and her ensemble recorded 3 live videos in Paris, as a follow up to her H.E.A.R.T. covers project.
The band included Sharlotte Gibson on background vocals, Tony Rinaldi on trombone, Lito Hernandez on tenor sax, Ryan Guajardo on bass, Ankit on drums, and Lyell on keys. Video to come.
Ankit and Lyell worked with Anna Kova to produce her cover project, H.E.A.R.T. Between April and August of 2018 they worked together to create a studio version as well as a live video of each track, featuring musicians from Paris, London, and LA.
Lyell and Leo recorded Plastic Chairs over the span of about a year, from early 2017 through until summer of 2018. The record featured a number of guest performances that include Russ Lawton (drums), Sharlotte Gibson (vocals), and Aamir Javaid (tenor sax). Building off his 2016 project, Distant Dreams and Love Songs, Lyell wrote Für Anne during the summer of 2017. The compositions reveal a blur of jazz and classical influence, and the record has found a home in therapy and palliative care contexts.
Alex Pflaum commissioned Ankit and Lyell to compose music for his Greenland timelapse video. Between 2017 and 2019 Alex travelled all over the planet taking creating an extensive series of photos and videos. The process culminated in his book, Overland, which was released in 2019.
